he's too funny!

i was chatting with him a lil while ago wen he suddenly ran off to chase off a white cat. he was a lil stupified when the cat didn't seem to be afraid of him altho 'the buluh' all naik atas. they were just staring dumbly at each other with the cat hissing and showing claw ... perhaps he took to heart our vigorous scolding after he bit that dude ... cos he ... suddenly peed (pied? peeded?) on the cat! and the nutcase cat just stood there! ahahahah!

anyway, tonight is Mother's Day, so we're having the aunts @ home for some makan makan and cake. pictures later k!

Kinarut Mansion

Its been hecka long time yo!



this place brings out memories! i think i was still in high school the last time (actually the 1st time and only time before now) i was here.



its changed a lot. i really preferred how it was before! with the tangled and twisting vines and with dense forest surrounding it.



it was way more creepy then but this kinda reminds me of the yellow brick roads :p



according to history it used to belong to some rich OP long time ago, but don't quote me. although i shot this place as part of the heritage rediscovery project i was too into my photography to hear what the caretaker had to say. typical me huh?



still i like it. not so mysterious as before but i really like old places :)

alright, i get it! its been a rough couple of weeks! give me a break!

first of all OB~Chan is bad!!! he bit someone recently and i had to pay hush money! actually just sent the dude to a doctor ... but its good to know that OB~ Chan is a great guard dog! that 'person' who got bitten was actually passing by the back gate and was antagonizing OBS. so, take that!

mom's been kinda down cos sister has moved to KL and i've been spending sometime after i got home from work just to listen to her nattering on. on a happier note sister is coming back end of this month. OB and mom is missing you!

i'm sorry that i didn't have time to miss you cos i'm so damn tired! this last couple of days are the worst! its a Saturday and i'm in the office doin some paperwork and housekeepin. heh ... tomorrow i have a 7am photoshoot.

but its all good cos on monday i'll be goin para sailing as an opening for the commonwealth conference on Sports Tourism!! yay! its a reward for the 30o invitation cards that i made for this event!

other than that the schedule look boring but damn tight ... so bear with me K!

oh btw, my laptop crashed so i'm not so connected to the net lately, even in the office i'm too harried to bother.

wined and dined last nite @ shenanigans + little italy respectively with hubbs and yo II and her mates.

emmm ... has the clubbin scene change so much since i've retired my dancing shoes? gawd! its so dead last nite and it was a friday nite no less. i bailed out at 11. and i thot i could paint the town red and give my shoes the workout. sori the dj + band sucks so bad. the drinks bad too! i mixed drinks better! i shud just stay home with my good fren chivas. WHAT THE???

anyhow, i just wanted to hangout with the girls for once, its kinda weird. ehehe. yo II is moving KL, so i thot to spend some time before she goes early may.

now, talking about moving .... sister quit her job and is also making the move, much earlier than yo II. heh, everybody is moving away. i won't be surprise anymore. so ray, take care of my sister or i'll be knockin on your door in sentul with my roach killer.

oh yeh, bro is finally accepted as a trainee at my org, after i drop my 'water face' and ask for a personal favor from GM! gawd, wat'll i'll do wen she calls on that favor! Dad also bugged Goldie about it so in the end they gave up and just gave bro the green flag.

i talked so much about this place you gonna puke already if i say more.



its just that for this issue of nanyo elite we were spose to 'enjoy the glorious sunset at the tip of borneo' a.k.a 'land's end'. so here we are. but its not guaranteed at all since the weather is super unpredictable. the clouds didn't let us 'enjoy it' that day.



i think i've never said this before but the feelin (feeeeelin!) up there is a little bit eerie at this time of the day. words can't explain it so i won't try. why don't you guys try hanging out there on an evening when the full moon rises. its beautiful on the way back, you can catch playful peeks of the moon in the sky between the coconut tree's silhouettes .

so finally i can start to post 'in the pursuit of heritage' road trip that we had some weeks ago. ehehe, sorry for the wait!!

its the beaches Kulanbu & kelampunian

i love the mountains and the beach equally but i'd rather live by the sea and have vacation on the mountain!!

so i'm totally a beach bum!

here's two of my favourites...i've raved on them before so i won't say much, just eye candy!



of these two beaches, i'm more into kulambu. sometime ago i heard that a really expansive time sharing villa was being built along the twin beaches of kulambu and i feared it'd be a private beach, but luckily they built it further along the stretch so we can still visit!



some years ago i caught a jellyfish here while snorkeling ... or rather it caught me. hence the souvenir on my back. oh well, one more won't matter!



theres a lot more traffic at Kelampunian, and usually during weekends theres lots of picnickers. wish i lived nearby, i'd be comin over everyday!

that's a dolphin's skeleton by the way. it washed to shore. i was told. ?



while kulambu is more exclusive, kulampunian is sorta like free - for - all and has a cluster of abodes alongside the road right up to the tip.



and since kulampunian leads to the tip of borneo, its not really a road less traveled anymore.

crossroads

lately i have the strangest feelin ...

i'm spacing out and thinking crazy stuff like joinin the circus. ahaha. (it wud b fun if dumbo was there!) anyhow i can't explain it, its a little bit troublesome. can't organize my work. my OCD is getting worse. so many little things to do. tch!

theres a little voice inside of me that seem to be screaming but strange that i can't make out the meanings. there are no words just sounds. i tried it out, just scream my guts out but i didn't feel any different after. oh well.

jon sang was offered a promotion. its in ipoh. i told him to go (i told him to go!!!) he's a little sad that i won't stop him. he's given his price, if he gets it then .... you kno. theres some stuff to think about. starting a new life somewhere sounds really great, but why the heck ipoh? since we're gonna be apart i might as well try and explore my possibilities elsewhere too. i'm thinkin about it. . . .

but it hurts me to detached from the hive. but since i'm the s&m type ... i guess it'll work out.

so. that's how it is. for now.

Maranjak Long House Homestay

its surprising!

i've been to many long houses, but somehow missed this particular one. heard bout it b4 of course and passed it many times ... that's a good thing, cos i wud have been bored otherwise



another surprising thing is the built of the long house [a.k.a binatang in rungus] itself. its a bit different from others that i've been too.

its a rare opportunity to get these kind of shots for me so i was happy too. see me very happy right!




the chow was not bad too! congratulations on being able to dance steps of the moggigol. its rather tough, i've done it meself.



their musical abilities are impressive .. its really a treat and i was really enjoying it to the max, so haunting that i couldn't help but close my eyes for a sec. you kno, feeling it (so i'm not sleepin k, altho it is my hobby). [even wen i say so i wonder why i'm the only one feeling it, nova? wat the?]



even the delivery was amazing! thru the NOSE for gawd sakes! and the for the gitar, it was two stringed! how rare!



they all have really good expression, so natural and relaxed. i mentioned b4 that even a small piece of that kind of clothing material takes ages and ages to complete. just thinking bout it makes me wanna pull my hair out!



this is another hair pulling activity which i've personally tried. this piece will also take a month too but if it were me i'll take at least two. nya~ha~ha!



that day it was a hawt as ever i've had when in kudat. for which i'm thankful, the light is much appreciated.

so i've been to tenom, tambunan and keningau last week and just got in from poring (ehehe, a short r&r with jon sang). and i'm pretty sure that i'm headin back to ranau again next weekend. i think i'm startin to get a lil road sick or sumthin.

i've been neglecting my blog, my flickr and my friends again. i'm the worst huh! but you guys stil love me right?

it seems like i get new assignments every damn day ... and i haven't started on the ones given b4 ... wat a mess, i just dunno where to start. geez, wats a bum like me doin in a workaholic 24/7 organization like this?

i've completed 50% of the post production processing for the heritage photography project, and i've got one toe in the pen project and i've completed the research part of the hotel brochure project, so i'm trying to compose the proposal for it but my mind started wandering off to parts unknown ... oh well, thats all for today i guess.

nyahhh .. i want a vacation! a vacation! :E

today, hawding's gonna start on his new life in KL ... its so envious, he got the dream job working for a game company ... all those games!!! uwahhh! we only hang out once b4 he had to leave again! anyway, thanks for lunch! i'll pester you wen i go there! ehehe....

why the village is known for gong~making? is cos the main industry is ....TADA! gong~making!



in actual fact this time was them most interesting experience i've ever had at sumangkap cos the the gong maker was around to give a demo. you can say that it was educational.



and for encore, the villager gve me this purple plant! happy! at first i thot it was cannabis, but i din really mind [as long as it has purple flowers...] but even after a so many clicks in the net, i cudn't find info on it!

bones creaking!

Ugahhhh!

that was a nice nap! i needed it after all the things that has been happening!

i'm proud to say that last sunday 'team bleach' that's otto [driver] noyod [navi] gaban + i won the 45th place in the city treasure hunt! not bad for rookies huh! nya~ha~ha! we have been anticipating this event for such a long time, and the sweetest part is we beat the 3rd time participant team dj, missy, a~g, dinn and some 75 other teams!! BWAAHAHAHAHAH! wow, did we earn bragging right for at least a year!! nya~ha~ha~ha! anyway, dats why i was knocked out yesterday. too much use of brain power is draining!

ehehe. we also had too much fun last friday nite, which was noyod bday! altho it somewhat belated we celebrated dinn's and Hboss bday together too, so it was pretty happening. in the end we had a little too much of ambrosia : ) happy bday dudes!

congratulations to clare and roland on baby renee's fullmoon! she's so darn cute! and thx for the invite. the lihing soup kicked ass! thx also to PV for the bottle of reds. sorry we cudn't finish it since we still hungover!

actually i'm talkin about my identity card.

its tattered to bits, but they won't let me make new one till i restore my original hair color! hmmm... gotta think bout dat.

yesterday night was chap goh mei and i had dinner with jon sang's family. [sigh] between the not so subtle hints to get married, guilt trips for missing important family dinners and the royalty treatment i get a little uncomfortable. they were too nice, i just can't handle that, and they don't kno the real me at all. [sigh]

oh well, it wasn't so bad as i thought. ummm, i got angpow from all the aunties :) ehehe.

well, gotta continue with my packing :(
